Iman Alhamdan

Iman graduated from Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Applied Chemistry. Completed her master’s degree in physics (nanoscience) from Fayoum University in Egypt under the XNEM project, which is a cooperation between several universities worldwide including JUST. Based on this program, she has accomplished a research stay in Spain (Rovira I Virgili) for three months (March 1, 2017, to May 28, 2017). She worked as an English medium science teacher in the United Arab Emirates for two years before she joined the nanophotonic group in 2020. She is a registered student in an industrial program with the Centre of Doctorate training in Applied Photonics (CDT) and her current project (Metasurfaces for augmented reality applications) is a collaboration between VividQ and the University of Saint Andrews.
